March - the arrival of Spring

Wow! I thought February flew by but March was even faster and had 2 more days than February.

Easter was early this year and we celebrated on Saturday, March 22nd with Rich, Lynn and the boys, then went to Lenny and Maryjo's for Easter Sunday. We had cake for Jessica and Dana's birthday. They have grown up to be such beautiful girls and I still can't believe Jessica is 18 and heading off to college in the Fall.

The following weekend was Paulie's 1st birthday. He is so funny and just a great baby. He is crawling, standing and getting around holding on to whatever is handy. He will be running after his brothers any time now.

Colin is talking better every day and getting so tall and thin. We took him and Sean to KB toys last week and people were stopping to watch Colin play basketball. He is obsessed with it and plays extremely well for 2 1/2. He can dribble and shoot a regulation size ball and has been for quite a while.

Sean is the character and just cracks us up. He is always coming up with something. He is 5 going on 15.

February flew by!

February is typically a short month but it was jam packed full of activities. We started off with a dinner for Aunt Nancy and Uncle Sal who moved to Florida on February 6th. Then on Friday the 8th we had a birthday party for Sean, who I still can't believe has turned 5! The party consisted of the Pagnottas and Fells and went well. We all had a lot of fun! Colin came home with us and gave mom a little break. He loves to stay overnight and we all love to have him even Luke gets excited. The following weekend on Saturday we had a birthday party for AJ who turned one. The ride was long but we enjoyed the party and visit with the Fell side of the family. On Sunday we took Colin to a pet shop and he loved it. He is very into the animals but was mesmerized by a giant salmon colored parrot who kept screaming at this woman who was talking to him. He kept yelling "Leave me alone!" It was hysterical. There was a beagle puppy and a boxer puppy who just loved him and he kept going back to see them. We were expecting him to want to buy them but he was just happy because they had gumball machines that he could spend all of the duarters (quarters) he had stuffed in his pockets that he found in the mug on Pop Pop's night stand.

Paulie cut his first tooth on the 21st which was very exciting. He is getting so big and now crawls and gets into everything. We all went shopping at Old Navy the night before AJ's party and Paulie was so funny. He had a fisherman hat on and looked so cute with his big blue eyes looking out from under the rim. He took it off after a while and Colin tried to put it back on him and he was screaming at Colin, not crying just screaming and turned almost purple, it was hysterical. We all cracked up except Colin who was getting frustrated. Paulie can't talk yet but he lets you know what he wants.

February also brought us a little snow. The kids and Luke were excited. Luke loves the snow and is not so happy that it is melting. He is crazy!

To end February, my friend Irene will become a grandmother on the 28th! Her daughter Lisa will have scheduled delivery and give Irene and Mike their first granddaughter. Conratulations!!

Holiday Season

November and December flew by. It seemed we had just gotten over Halloween when it was Thanksgiving and now Christmas. Wow! I am exhausted and still have lots to do. We have a lot to be thankful for this year though. We have 3 beautiful healthy grandsons and lots of family to share the holidays with.

Our traditions are changing to meet our growing families needs, this Saturday we are doing the Fell celebration at Uncle Bob's and them we have a celebration on Christmas Eve with my mom and Rich's family so Rich and Lynn can spend some time with Grandmom Pagnotta and anyone else who wants to stop by. We spend Christmas morning at their house where Lynn and Rich cook us a great breakfast and we watch the kids open our presents to them. After breakfast we go home and take a rest, then head to my brother Dan's for the Pagnotta celebration.

I have been working late for the past 6 weeks so getting things done is a little tricky but we are all pitching in and it will get done. My company is crazy between October and mid December but we get off from Monday, December 24th until Wednesday, January 2nd as bonus days with pay so it makes it worth the pain. I am really looking forward to the time off.

Since I didn't get a chance to get my holiday cards out, I hope everyone has a great Holiday!!
